Church in Stow-in-the-Wold

The first day we arrived we visited Stow-In-the-Wold. This is an example of a typical English countryside church.

It was pouring in Stow, but during a brief break there was enough time to send Eric to the town stocks.

We stayed in Moreton-In-Marsh

Apparently in the early 1900's there were quite a number of tolls. We decided to steer clear of Cocoanut Shoot.

The English Countryside

It cleared up enough that we decided to venture on a walk through the muddy English countryside. This is where we made our first wrong turn.

Are we there yet?

We thought we were getting close to Bourton-on-the-Hill, but we were headed toward Longborough.

It is quite frightening when a HUGE cow is coming straight for you.

A little too close for comfort and man, it was smelly. No more cheese for me!
