Night Train Accommodations
We took the night train from Paris to Barcelona and it took about 12 hours. I did get some sleep in my bunk, earplugs were necessary, I am not sure my seasickness bands really helped with the motion.
|
Barcelona Harbor
We immediately headed for the harbor and were esctatic to finally see the sunshine.
|
Mirrored Building
We ate at the restaurant you can see in the reflection. We had tapas and the food just kept coming!

Self-Portrait
I know, for some reason we like taking pictures of our reflections...
|
Sagrada Familia
From Parc Guell you can see the famous cathedral and just how much scaffolding and cranes surround it.

Eric taking a break in Parc Guell
Antoine Gaudi designed most everything in the Parc and it was fascinating to see the variety and uniqueness of his creations.

LeAnn on a Parc Guell bench
Gaudi again, incredible mosaic, the bench continued around a large open area (dirt, of course).

Picnic Lunch with Food from Mercat Boqueria
We found a great spot in the Parc where we were serenaded by Street Musicians. The only played the theme from Aladdin twice, bummer! They were quite amazing regardless.
|
Casa Battlo Roof
Another Gaudi creation, that is suppose to look like a dragon.
